Top things:
(1) The city center has a lot of community dancing in the evenings that anyone is welcome to join.
(2) Some people really love the Gaudi architecture.
(3) The Gothic quarter is interesting.
(4) Be careful while walking on La Rambla. We had a guy pick my husbands pocket.
This post is long overdue since we visited Barcelona around 7 years ago. Well, in my defense I wasn't writing a blog back then and I really only developed a passion for travel a couple years ago.
I don't remember all the details about this trip. Among the things I remember are:
(1) The Sagrada Familia can have long lines. buy tickets online and save your time.
(2) My husband really loves Gaudi architecture (Parc Guell for example). Somehow I feel I didn't like it as much. Maybe if I visit now I'll have a different opinion.
(3) I was beyond shocked when I saw a topless lady in the city beaches. Well, I was pretty naive back then. Try me now!
(4) We waited for a really long time to get into a top-rated tapas place. And finally when we got it, we felt somewhat underwhelmed.
(5) The weather was beautiful around the time we visited.
(6) Spanish omelette is amazing.
(7) Nigh-time walks in the city are highly recommended.
